Our stay at The Lake House was nothing short of perfect! Situated on a quiet lake, the newly built cottage was immaculate and well-maintained. After sun-filled days, we spent many evenings in the spacious living room, unwinding on the comfortable couch and reclining chairs, enjoying movies on the big tv. The kitchen was fully equipped, making meal prep a breeze, and the large indoor dining table became our go-to spot for dinners and nightly games. Our kids loved the upper loft, where they could play with toys and watch TV, giving us some peaceful moments downstairs. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and having laundry machines was a blessing, especially with a baby in tow. The cottage offered multiple lake viewpoints, providing breathtaking scenery while maintaining a sense of privacy. Our favourite spot was the dock, with 6 Muskoka chairs—ideal for soaking up the sun or savouring morning coffee. The shallow beach entry was perfect for the kids, who spent their days in the lake, playing with floaties, paddling in the child-sized kayak. Being just a short five-minute drive from the convenience store, marina, playground, LCBO, and the Kawartha Dairy ice cream stand made quick trips for essentials or treats effortless. We created unforgettable memories with our neighbours and friends from Australia. Roxanne and Kevin were exceptional hosts, promptly responding to our texts and ensuring our stay was seamless. We can’t wait to visit again!

Rocky Point Cottage Review - Let me be the first to say what a beautiful and very clean cottage! Hard to find a cottage like this that allows our fur babies to come! They thought of basically everything that you need right down to the pets (in case you forgot to bring something)! They email a list of everything to bring and directions to places which were so close, even the launch was right across the lake! What they describe in their listing is bang on! The kayaks, paddle boat ( my grandson and I enjoyed ) we paddled across the lake to the playground! We couldn't been more fortunate to find such a sweet place to spend our holiday! Thank you so much to the owners of this beautiful property!

Rocky point cottage was the perfect place to host my daughter’s bachelorette weekend.  The cottage had ample room for our group of 7 adults.  The cottage is very well equipped for making meals, the kitchen has all the tools and gadgets that you may need. The bedrooms were big with lots of space for your personal belongings and comfortable beds. The indoor living space is great to hang out, eat meals or watch tv by the fireplace.   The Outdoor space is amazing! We loved hanging out on the dock, swimming in the clean lake and using the bbq and the deck for meals.  We had a fantastic weekend and would not hesitate to book again. 

Rocky Point Cottage was perfect for some much needed down time. Everything has been thought out.

We loved our stay at the Rocky Point Lake House! Spacious, clean, and just steps from the water. All the comforts of home but with a spectacular view!

This was our first visit, and it exceeded our expectations! There was lots of seating for everyone both inside and outside. So many places to tuck away and relax with a book and a drink!
